5 Teaser Daisy Chain with bird

Construction: 5" hard plastic bird, 5 ea premium 7 1/2" teasers rigged on 8 ft of 100# Mono, terminating with a 200# coastlock swivel.
Placement in Spread:off short rigger, with daisy chain bait about 5 - 8 ft behind adjacent spreader bar of same or complementary colors. Or off long rigger when not running spreader bar teasers.
Speed: 5 - 10 knots
Target:yellowfin tuna, bluefin tuna, blackfin tuna, mahi mahi, sailfish, white marlin

Add your favorite lure as a hook bait to the end of the chain. My favorite for the blue/white and the blue/silver chains are the Gulf Coast Jet or the Ticket. In both cases I generally add a rigged baitfish (ballyhoo, mackerel, blue runner) to the hook bait (natural at slower speeds, artificial at higher speeds).
