Birds are a part of the rigging supplies which make a pretty good lure or daisy chain into a dynamite lure or daisy chain. These are setup to allow easy connection to the lure or daisy chain by connecting the snap swivel to the loop of the lure. The top loop of the bird is then snapped into the snap swivel on the main line. I don’t think color matters on the birds, I think it is the action that calls the fish.
